Event Description
We're excited to announce a Poster Design Contest open to all Foothills Craft Guild members! We're looking for a fresh, modern identity that carries our Guild proudly into the 21st century.
Our current logo has served us well, but it's time for a refresh. We want a design that:
• Is clean, contemporary, and professional
• Uses a black-and-white or limited color palette (no clipart or stock illustration)
• Reflects the artisan spirit and Tennessee roots of our Guild
• Works beautifully across print, web, and social media
• Is original artwork — not AI-generated or clipart-based
Submission Guidelines:
• Open to all Foothills Craft Guild members
• Submit designs as high-resolution PNG or vector (SVG, AI, or PDF) files
• Include a brief note (3–5 sentences) explaining your concept
• Each entrant may submit up to 3 designs
• Deadline: Midnight, Sunday, June 7, 2026
• Email submissions with Foothills Logo in the subject line to: foothillstn@gmail.com and copy caracrose@gmail.com
The winning design will become the official logo of the Foothills Craft Guild. The Board of Directors will vote to select three FINAL candidates and members will vote to pick the final design at our Annual Member Meeting on June 14, 2026. (We may make slight modifications to the selected design to better fit our branding needs.)
In addition to feeling great for helping the Guild, earning bragging rights as the Guild member who designed our logo, and a write up in the July newsletter, the Board may award a $50 Jerry's Artarama gift certificate to the winner!
